Rich Me Poor Me by Stonyram Publishing – Editorial Review

Rich Me Poor Me – You Will Be The First Millionaire in Your Family If You Make the Right Decisions is a powerful book which teaches the right mindset and habits to create a prosperous financial future for yourself

Stonyram Publishing consistently publishes high quality books on Financial Wisdom and Financial Intelligence. Rich Me, Poor Me is a good example

The book is very well structured as a collection of Rich Mindset & Rich Habits chapters and Poor Mindset & Poor Habits chapters

  1. The Rich Mindset chapters describe the positive habits and mindsets that lead to wealth. These chapters highlight the powerful, positive habits to embrace
  2. The Poor Mindset chapters cover negative habits and decisions which prevent you from becoming wealthy. These chapters highlight the negative habits and negative mindsets which you must avoid at all costs

By using this excellent structure, the author very clearly shows the stark contrast between

  1. Those who become wealthy, by choosing the right mindset and habits
  2. Those who choose negative habits and a poor mindset and are unable to achieve financial freedom and wealth

Introduction & Context

Rich Me, Poor Me by Stonyram Publishing is a Financial Wealth & Financial Self Help book which will help you eliminate negative beliefs about money (such as – money is evil) and inculcate powerful beliefs about money (such as – money is a powerful tool)

It is split up into

  1. Positive Belief & Positive Mindset Chapters (Rich Me) which show the reader The Right Way to think about money. These chapters empower the reader and make the reader more financially astute
  2. Negative Belief & Negative Mindset Chapters (Poor Me) which show the reader which negative and disempowering beliefs and mindsets they should avoid

It packs a very strong punch and it will help you realize all the negative beliefs about money and financial wealth you have been brainwashed with (because certain evil entities want you to be poor and fear money and not realize you can be rich and happy)

Main Review

“Rich Me Poor Me: You Will Be the First Millionaire in Your Family If You Make the Right Decisions” is a thought-provoking guide that offers practical advice for achieving financial success. The author seeks to inspire a shift from a poor mindset to a rich mindset, enabling people to make better decisions and exploit their potential for wealth creation

The “Poor Me” sections show habits and traits derailing success, while the “Rich Me” sections provide alternative choices, behaviors, and traits likely to propel individuals to success. The author touches on emotional intelligence, discipline, self-belief, persistence, and time management, among other concepts related to professional and financial success

Strengths

The author uses clear and simple language that makes the book suitable for all readers regardless of their level of financial knowledge. Fast readers can get through the book in one sitting and obtain valuable insights into wealth creation

Crucially, the author utilizes his personal experiences to communicate his ideas, making the content relatable and believable

One is likely to be motivated to adopt certain ideals if they are proven effective through personal experience. The author provides practical approaches that individuals can apply to achieve the desired improvements in their personal and professional lives, from budgeting techniques and investment tips to advice on building multiple income streams.

Weaknesses

The book is well-written, but some readers may have conflicting views about the ideas shared. For example, by emphasizing personal responsibility, the author may appear to be oversimplifying the challenges individuals face in their search for wealth. Some people fail to become millionaires, not because of indiscipline, poor time management, or any other factor mentioned by the author, but because of systemic factors they cannot control

Editor’s Note: This is very tough, because it is only when a person says – Despite the System I will become wealthy, that they will become wealthy. At the same time, you have to try and show people that they must work and overcome the system in a steady and consistent way (even if the systems seems insurmountable)

Some chapters could have benefited from a more in-depth explanation of concepts because the target audience seeks guidance for financial well-being and details are helpful. Lastly, repeating concepts with almost similar meanings may put off some readers, especially in the final chapters.

Conclusion

“Rich Me Poor Me” is an informative and highly empowering guide for anyone who desires financial growth. The book is a perfect guide for individuals who want to overcome self-sabotaging habits and want to experience personal, professional, and financial growth

Although the author does not delve into the external factors that hinder success, the focus on self-reflection and taking personal responsibility is a good starting point to secure one’s financial future.

Overall Recommendation

This is an excellent book. If you want to become rich, or even if you just want to become well-off, this is a Must Read

This is the sort of book that should be part of the school and college curriculum alongside mathematics and civic studies and history and geography. Financial Freedom is often the foundation on which all other Freedoms are built, and Rich Me Poor Me will point you in the right direction

It’s a compact and succinct book and it’s packed full of great mindsets and lessons. There’s really no excuse of ‘it’s too long’ to avoid it. An hour or so of your time will teach you some extremely valuable lessons about money. It will also open up your mind and your eyes to some of the negative beliefs you have about money (sometimes without realizing it) and how damaging they can be to achieving Financial Success

Personal Finance & Financial Wealth readers – 100/100 and Very Strongly Recommended

Business & Money readers – 100/100 and Very Strongly Recommended

Self Help readers – 90/100 and Recommended strongly

Non Fiction readers – 90/100 and Recommended strongly

Strong Warning: Please read the Poor Me chapters first, before reading the Rich Me chapters. Please do not end your reading with the Poor Me chapters. You must read the Rich Me chapters last. It’s extremely important that the last thoughts/habits in both your conscious and subconscious mind are the positive habits and positive mindsets from the Rich Me chapters

Curator’s Thoughts

Stonyram Publishing has published a number of well written and powerful books about gaining the right mindset and becoming wealthy. Rich Me Poor Me is very reminiscent of Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki (in a good way)

It’s not enough to show people what habits they need to embrace to become rich. People must also be shown what to avoid

Often we get stuck in our mindset of being poor/glorifying poverty and don’t realize that we hold our destiny in our own hands

Rich Me Poor Me is a great book to understand the right path to wealth. It not only shows what to embrace (the right mindset and habits), it also shows the roadblocks to avoid

We recommend Rich Me Poor Me very strongly because it does not give the reader the easy option of blaming circumstances or blaming other people for their own fate

By showing both what to follow and what to avoid, it lays out a really clear roadmap to financial success
